10cc - I'm Not In Love - Honest Jack Tripper Version

I will call that song very heartfelt and bittersweet that touches my heart, because it's mainly all about marriage relationship falling out of favor. Besides it's very touching. I made a comment about that song on YouTube and said:

It's too bad that in 1975 British band 10cc might have taken a break from having a wacky sense of humor and started concentrating on a serious relevant version of the bittersweet heartbreaking ballad, "I'm Not In Love", minus Kathy Redfern's self-parody and believe me it is 10 times better than the epic 6-minute version of that song with her part added.

Honest Jack Tripper is the 22nd episode of Season 5 of Three's Company, and the 100th overall episode in the series. Written by Michael S. Baser and Kim Weiskopf, the episode was directed by Dave Powers. It first aired on ABC-TV on May 19, 1981.

Synopsis

When Jack's never-ending schemes to endear himself to beautiful women totally backfire, he decides to forego his little white lies for total honesty.

Plot summary

Having told luscious interior designer Lisa Page that he lives alone, Jack borrows Ralph Furley's apartment for an evening's assignation, since Furley has left for the weekend. But when Furley makes a premature return, Jack is forced to convince his landlord that the unusual decor has knocked Lisa for a loving loop. Jack takes Lisa back upstairs to his own apartment where he has a tough time explaining to Lisa the presence of his two pajama-clad roommates Janet and Cindy. Lisa calls him a liar and storms from the apartment. The next morning Jack decides that honesty is the best policy. But he quickly discovers that the whole truth can mean a whole lot of trouble.
